SNA Software Announces Upgrade to EnvisionData to Support New Department of Defense (DoD) JSON IPMDAR File Schema
July 15, 2020. Orlando Florida-based SNA Software LLC announced that it had incorporated into its regular 1.3.1 upgrade to its COTS ETL application, EnvisionData, the ability to import and perform data quality checks on DoD-compliant IPMDAR files for incorporation into its powerful Proteus Envision IPPM intelligence environment. Through the receipt of this file Proteus Envision will continue to deliver unparalleled visualization, analytical, and knowledge-based environments to project-focused organizations as the industry technology leader in integrated project, program and portfolio management solutions.
In May 2020, the U.S. Department of Defense released long-anticipated guidance for a new JSON-based schema to transition from the current UN/CEFACT XML file for supplier submissions of data to the DoD Central Repository containing both cost and schedule performance information.
Additional capabilities related to the new JSON schema will be part of SNA's normal build release schedule as the industry and government agencies adjust to and comply with this new standard.
